Who we are

About RapidTrend

RapidTrend is an online resource built around one simple idea: financial numbers should be easy to understand. Whether you are comparing loans, planning your savings, or checking what a tax or duty might cost, you should be able to get a clear answer in seconds.

We keep the site fast, simple and free. There is no account to create, no long form to fill in, and nothing to pay.

Our story

Why we built it

Borrowing, saving and paying tax all come down to numbers, and those numbers are hard to work out in your head. A small change to an interest rate or a loan term can change what you pay by a lot over time, and most people only find that out after they have signed.

We wanted a place where anyone could see the real effect of a decision before making it, without needing a finance background, a login or a sales call.

Our aim is simple: help you understand the numbers first, so you can make decisions with confidence.
What we stand for

Our mission and values

Four ideas guide everything we publish.

  • Free for everyone

Everything on RapidTrend is free to use, with no subscription, paywall or sign-up.

  • Simple and clear

We ask only for what is needed and explain results in plain language, on any screen size.

  • Private by design

Calculations run in your browser. We don’t store or share the numbers you enter.

  • Honest about limits

Results are estimates from standard formulas. They aren’t financial, tax or legal advice, so confirm important figures with a licensed professional.

Trust

How we keep things reliable

We want you to know what a result is based on, so we explain how each figure is worked out and what it does and doesn’t include.

  • Standard methods. We use widely accepted formulas rather than hidden or made-up rules.
  • Clear assumptions. Where a result depends on a rate, term or rule, we say so on the page.
  • Dated information. Where we rely on government rates or thresholds, we note when they were last checked.
  • We listen. If something looks wrong, tell us and we will look into it.
Local focus

Built with Australia in mind

Much of what we publish follows Australian rules, including GST, stamp duty in South Australia and superannuation. Rates and thresholds change from time to time, so please check the latest details with the relevant authority before you rely on a result.

You can read more about how we handle results, privacy and use of the site in our Terms and Conditions.

Your data

Your privacy matters

The figures you type in stay in your browser. We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t store or share the numbers you enter. You can use the site without telling us who you are.
